Orvieto Field Trip Today! Beautiful, Interesting, Gelato and Well...

Today we visited the town of Orvieto, it is quite ancient with beautiful Guomo (Cathedral), hundreds of cellars built under the city, quaint alley ways and shops and a well... a very deep well called Pozzo di San Patrizio that was commissioned in 1527 and 203 feet deep, it took all 248 steps going down to reach the bottom... and 248 steps to head back up!
