Assisi and Gelato Both are AMAZING!

Today we took a ride to Assisi, Italy where St. Francis of Assisi lived his life of poverty and service and where a beautiful town now exists and basilica which includes his tomb and amazing frescos.  We also visited St. Clara, she was a follower of St. Francis and has her own cathedral and tomb there as well where the Claras (nuns) still live.  The freshly made pizza was delicioso!  Gelato is fabuloso in the heat of the day, during as well as after our journey to Assisi.
